Coda Blocks does not collect your personal data. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party data sharing. Your game progress lives on your own device.
Game saves, scores, coins, unlocks, settings, and creations you make in the Game Builder are stored locally on your device (browser/app local storage). We can't see them, and deleting the app or clearing site data removes them.
Some features may offer optional online play. If you choose to create a player account for online matches, we store only a username, a password (hashed), and gameplay records (wins, losses, kindness points) on our own servers — nothing else, and never for advertising. Voice chat in online matches is opt-in, live only, and never recorded. You can ask us to delete an online account at any time.
Coda Blocks offers an optional age check so younger players get the right experience. If you start it, the front camera takes a picture and an estimate of your age band is worked out on your own device.
Coda Blocks is made to be safe for everyone, including younger players. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Community rules are enforced under The Coda Code.
